A Aruna is an academician and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Engineering and Technology since June 2023. She previously held academic positions at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (2017–2023) and Muthayammal Engineering College (2016–2017), accumulating over 9 years of experience in teaching and research. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She holds an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Muthayammal Engineering College (2015) and a B.Tech. in Information Technology from Valliammai Engineering College (2013).
Her research interests include blockchain-based secure healthcare systems, privacy-preserving data mining, AI-driven medical diagnostics, and cloud security. She has published extensively in Scopus and SCI-indexed journals and contributed to IGI Global book chapters. Her conference presentations include IEEE and AIP proceedings on secure EHR systems, cryptographic techniques in blockchain, and AR-based intelligent systems. She is also a contributor to interdisciplinary domains like virtual reality in rehabilitation and computer vision-based traffic analysis.
