M.Sumathi , B.Sc., M.Sc.,Ph.D (N)

Working as an Assistant professor in Department of Nursing Foundation since 2023.

Specialized in Medical Surgical Nursing. Mrs.Sumathi.M completed her B.Sc (N) Programme

at Adhiparasakthi College of Nursing, M.Sc (N) at Saveetha College of Nursing and Ph.D

programme at Omayal Achi college of Nursing under The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medial

University . She is handling UG, PG, Post Basic and Ph.D. scholars.

She is recognized as an advisory committee member for Ph.D. Programme in various

University. She is a recipient of Research Scholar award from ICCR, and best research paper

ward in National Conference. She contributed as an author in Omayal Achi Procedure

manual published by Wolters Kluwer. She conducted project in Oral cancer among

community people funded by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University and Qualitative

study funded by ICCR. She is also a content developer in Texila American University.

She has been a resource person and co-chaired the session in various conferences,

workshop and She has organized many National and International Conferences, Workshops

and Seminar. Till date, she has published more than 25 research article in on line journals

(Google Scholar, ICCR journal), She guided many research project to UG, PG from 2007 and

Ph.D scholars in Nursing since 2017. Her areas of research interest includes Non

Communicable disease, older adults, Rehabilitation and systematic Review.
