Mr. Sivamani j is currently working as Speech Language Pathologist Grade I at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER- Deemed University), Chennai, India. He is a registered practitioner as Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist – Rehabilitation Council of India (CRR.No: A78606). He holds an undergraduate and a postgraduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from SRM Medical College and Research Centre, Chennai, where he excelled academically and received the gold medal for his outstanding performance in his post graduation. He was a key member of the organizing committee for the International Stuttering Awareness day 2022 at SRM Medical College and Research Centre, Chennai. He won second prize for his research poster at CME on Neurorehabilitation conducted by Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, SRM Medical College, Chennai. He
showcased his creativity and innovation by winning the second prize in the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) creation competition during his postgraduate study. He participated and presented his research studies at INDOCLEFTCON 2022 and 2023 and served as resource person at INDOCLEFTCON 2024. He was awarded with 1st prize best scientific paper, and 2nd prize in quiz competition at FLASH Series VIII conference. His areas of clinical focus and research include cleft and craniofacial anomalies, neurological communication disorders, feeding and swallowing disorders and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). With his ambitious interests in research he has published one paper and has four more papers under process for publication including his master degree dissertation. He is currently dedicated to creating a network of healthcare professionals in his hometown Namakkal to collaborate with them for providing high-quality and accessible services for people with communication and swallowing difficulties.
