Bio

I completed my MBBS at the esteemed Madurai Medical College (2013–2018), one of Tamil Nadu’s most respected institutions for medical training. I then pursued my MD in Radiation Oncology at the prestigious Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, a regional leader in cancer research and treatment. My training emphasized a blend of evidence-based medicine, advanced technological expertise, and a holistic, patient-centered approach.

In 2023, I was honored as the Best Outgoing Student at the Cancer Institute (WIA)—a recognition of my academic excellence, clinical acumen, and steadfast commitment to patient care. I have also been certified in the Essentials of Palliative Care (September 2021)[Certificate Course in Essentials of Palliative Care (CCEPC)Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC)], further strengthening my ability to provide comprehensive, empathetic support to patients across all stages of cancer treatment. Certificate Course in Biomedical ResearchICMR-NIE & NPTEL/SWAYAM, December 2022.

Research Interest

Investigating the prognostic significance of progesterone receptor (PR) expression in hormone receptor-positive breast cancers, with a focus on its correlation with treatment response, disease-free survival, and long-term outcomes.

Focused on the development of a predictive nomogram to identify poor responders among cervical cancer patients undergoing concurrent chemoradiation. This model aims to integrate clinical, radiologic, and dosimetric parameters to analyze key factors influencing treatment outcomes. The objective is to facilitate risk-adapted treatment intensification and improve personalization of therapy in locally advanced cervical cancer.
