Dr. Poornima Devi M is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Madras, M.Phil. in Computer Science from the University of Madras, M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Queen Mary’s College for Women and B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Soka Ikeda College of Arts & Science for Women. Dr. Poornima Devi’s academic journey has been marked by her commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. Dr. Poornima Devi’s research interests span a wide range of areas including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing. Her scholarly contributions are well-recognized, with several publications in reputed journals and conferences. Dr. Poornima Devi has been honored with the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Sustainable Innovation in Science & Technology. Dr. Poornima Devi has actively contributed as a resource person in various academic workshops and training programs. Notably, she served as the resource person for the workshop on “Data Visualization and Data Analytics using Tableau” organized by Mahalakshmi Women’s College of Arts and Science, Chennai, on 15th March 2024. She was also invited for the “Knowledge Transition Programme, Blog Alumni Retrospect 2023” at Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women, Chennai, on 13th March 2023. Her expertise in LaTeX has been widely recognized, having conducted sessions such as “Hands-on LaTeX Training” for the Refresher Course in Computer Science and Information Technology, Batch XIII, UGC-HRDC, University of Madras on 25th November 2022, and a similar session for Batch XI on 23rd February 2022. She also served as a resource person for the “Hands-on Visual Analytics using Tableau” workshop at Soka Ikeda College on 5th January 2022 and led a 5-day hands-on workshop on “Scientific Writing using LaTeX” at S.A. College of Arts & Science, Chennai, from 29th November to 3rd December 2021. Her contributions reflect her commitment to knowledge sharing and skill development in data analytics and scientific documentation.
