Bio

Dr Aswathi Neena Satheesh, is working as Senior Resident in the department of ophthalmology in Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai since February 2024. She is in charge of the Oculoplasty services in the department.

She has completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore in 2017 and Ophthalmology residency from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry in 2021. She is fellowship trained in Oculoplastic Surgery and Neuro-Ophthalmology from the renowned Little Flower Hospital and Research Institute, Angamaly, Kerala and was awarded the Fellowship of All India Collegium of Ophthalmologists (FAICO) in Oculoplastic Surgery in 2023.

She is proficient in cataract surgeries and complex oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeries with expertise in multi-disciplinary management. She is also a passionate teacher and researcher with a keen interest in challenging neuro-ophthalmology cases.
