Dr.R.Srimathi is a professional with 10years of academic and research experience specialised in core areas such as Computer Aided Drug Design, Synthetic chemistry, green chemistry and Nano based approaches. I have worked in the design, synthesis and evaluation of novel compounds for the treatment of breast cancer during my Ph.D. My interest in scientific writing led me to publish papers in National and International journals with highest Impact Factor being 6.0. Around 15 papers have been published and 1 patent have been filed under government of India, Intellectual Property Rights. I have domain knowledge on working with computational software such as Quantitative Structure Activity Relationships using QSARINS, Molecular docking using Autodock, DFT calculations using Gaussian and Molecular dynamic simulations using GROMACS. I have been a speaker to around 4 universities in India on the topic Computer Aided Drug Design.
This project encompasses discovery of novel coumarin sulfonamides targeted ER-positive metastatic breast cancer as steroidal sulfatase inhibitors. It will include computer aided drug design, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation.
