Dr. Srivani M, working as an Assistant Professor in Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Porur, Chennai. She has nearly 6 years of Research experience and 1 year of teaching experience. She has completed her Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai under the guidance of Dr. Abirami Murugappan, Professor, Department of IST, CEG, Anna University. She has been awarded with the prestigious Anna Centenary Research Fellowship from 2018–2019 by Centre For Research, Anna University and Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) fellowship from 2019–2024 by the Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, awarded by the honourable President of India for pursuing research. She has completed M.Tech (Information Technology) with First Rank and Gold Medallist in College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai from 2015–2017. M.Tech project was selected as Technology Innovative Project in 2017. She has completed B.Tech (Information Technology) with Gold Medal and sixth rank out of 9939 students in the state of Tamil Nadu. Her areas of interest include Cognitive Computing, ML, AI, Natural Language Processing and Cognitive Computing. There are about 16 publications to her credit.

Automated lecture summarization parallel with question and answering and evaluation of students assessments which provide customized educational support. This system employs transformers T5 for multi-language summarization along with Distil Bert for the question and answering system, and Spacy for Named Entity Recognition (NER) to extract, process, and summarize the information from various sources and PDFs into detailed lecture summaries. It incorporates a TF-IDF-based keyword extraction module along with multilingual text-to-speech conversion capabilities and sentiment analysis tools for user input review. Through the generation of interactive flashcards containing MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions), this system increases user interaction. A corpus of manually graded answer sheets are annotated and digitised using rubrics. Depending on scoring scale, multi-class classification or regression are utilised to fine-tune RoBERTa to fit score patterns. Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Pearson correlation serves as the evaluation criterion. This proposed model will result in excellent results over manual methods by achieving greater speed, accuracy, and scalability. This digital learning model aims to support long-term knowledge retention with improved access and user engagement functionalities.
