Currently she is working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and Technology, SRIHER. After completing Ph.D. in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, SRIHER, she joined as Research Executive at CisGEN Biotech Pvt. Ltd. She was working on expression, isolation and purification of recombinant protein from Baculovirus infected in SF-9 insect line. After 2 years of Industrial experience, she joined as Senior technician at Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital during the pandemic for testing COVID-19 samples. Later she was working as a Junior Scientist in the Research and Development wing of Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital and most of the work was carried out in combating Antimicrobial Resistance using medicinal plants. With 14 years of research experiences she have published 14 research articles and two book chapters, with a cumulative impact factor of 16, with 288 citations, and an h-index of 7.
