  • Board Certified Clinical Perfusionist – CCP (India) from Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion – India. Certificate license no :-Q/58/2458.
  • Experienced Clinical Cardiac Perfusionist with exposure to wide spectrum of Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Cardiac Surgeries including complex aortic surgeries and surgeries that require specialized perfusion techniques such as Deep Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest , Selective Cerebral Perfusion and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgeries.
  • Experienced in initiation and management of Extracorporeal Life Support Systems -ECMO, Ventricular Assist Devices – Impella, Centrimag and IABP
  • Completed M.Sc Perfusion Technology (First Class with Distinction) from Chettinad Academy of Research and Education was awarded Rajah Muthiah Award and Gold Medal for overall Proficiency.
  • Worked as Clinical Perfusionist at Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road from 2023 – 2024, was part of the core team that started Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery programme at the newly established hospital.
  • Currently Working as Lecturer in Faculty of Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Perfusion Technology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research.
  • I work with a commitment to excel in Teaching, Research, and Patient care and I aim to train and inspire the next generation of Perfusionists and enhance students learning experience and their overall professional development to meet the dynamic challenges of evolving modern day healthcare.

Conventional Cardiopulmonary Bypass Circuits Vs Miniature Cardiopulmonary Bypass Circuits: Impact On Blood Conservation During Cardiac Surgery

The aim of this study is to evaluate whether there is significant reduction in homologous blood and blood-product usage in addition to decrease in postoperative bleeding between two different CPB circuits.
