Dr. Keertthana Trivellore Premkumar, a pathologist from Chennai, India, with an MD in Pathology and FRCPATH Part 1 in Histopathology. Am currently working as a Senior Resident in the Department of Pathology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. My work spans histopathology, hematology, and cytopathology, where am actively involved in diagnostic practice, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and teaching medical students.
My research interests lie in molecular pathology, gynecological and gastrointestinal pathology, and cancer research. For my MD thesis, studied the Expression of ARID1A in Benign, Premalignant, and Malignant Lesions of Endometrium and Endometrioid Endometrial Carcinoma, which deepened my interest in biomarker-based cancer diagnostics. Have presented my work through oral and poster presentations at various national conferences and published research in oncopathology. Have also received training in immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and perinatal pathology.
