Bio

He is a renowned Surgical Gastroenterologist in SRMC known for his expertise in Minimal Access keyhole surgeries for complex gastrointestinal problems.

Dr. Vikram hails from the southern city of Tamil Nadu, was raised with humble roots, completed his MBBS with merit from the prestigious Tirunelveli Medical College, and further completed his MS general surgery from Royapettah GH under Kilpauk Medical College, known for its versatile exposure to trauma and elective complex surgeries of surgical gastroenterology & surgical oncology. He then worked as a surgical registrar in the department of Surgical Oncology for four years and further completed an MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology at this prestigious SRMC. He has added the national degrees DNB General Surgery, DrNB in Surgical Gastroenterology, and pursuing MBA in Hospital Management to his accolades. He currently is one of the few surgeons in the state who has Da Vinci Robot console surgeon certification with experiences of Robotic complex Hernia repair surgeries done at Gleneagles Hospital, Chennai.  His exposure and experience in Bariatric Procedures, Liver Resections and Pancreato-Biliary Surgeries along with further Fellowships in Laparoscopy & robotic surgery, have hailed him as one of the few renowned minimal access surgeons for complex gastrointestinal surgical diseases in the country.

2. Pancreatitis and Pancreatic Cancer Surgical Management in Laparoscopy.

3. Bariatric Procedures for Excess Weight Loss in Laparoscopy (Sleeve, MGB, Sleeve Bipartite).

5. Laser Proctology (Piles, Fistula, Pilonidal Sinus, Fissure)
