Research Interest
My research focuses on improving maternal and child health through community-based interventions, particularly addressing micronutrient deficiencies among rural antenatal women. I design and evaluate experiential learning strategies involving families to enhance nutritional knowledge and health behaviors. I’m also engaged in diabetes research, exploring glycaemic control and traditional remedies for diabetic complications. In nursing education, I focus on innovative teaching methods like reflective journaling and concept mapping to improve clinical decision-making and critical thinking. My work aims to develop sustainable, evidence-based solutions that strengthen both community health outcomes and nursing education.
