- Identification of quorum sensing inhibitory potential of novel/potential phytochemicals from various natural resources.
- Studying on anti-aggregation of amyloid beta peptide and its mediated neurotoxicity in Alzheimer’s studies.
- Future goals: Nanomaterials based targeted drug delivery and immune-modulatory studies in Caenorhabditis elegans animal model system

Molecular characterization (16s rRNA gene analysis) was done for six bacterial isolates namely Pseudomonas aeruginosa AS1 , P. aeruginosa AS2, Psychrobacter aquaticus A1 , P. pseudoalcaligenes A2 , Bacillus spp. SS4 , Streptomyces spp. Ac-6, P. aeruginosa (DI-1), B. licheniformis (DI-2), B. megaterium (DI-3), B. subtilis (DI-4), B. licheniformis (DI-5) and B. amyloliquefaciens (DI-6) and their sequences were submitted in the GenBank with the accession number of GU447237, GU447238, GU447235, GU447236, GU471751, FJ662867, KC346264, KC346259, KC346260, KC346261, KC346262 and KC346263, respectively.
