Bio

Ms. Deepika J, presently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology at SRFASLP an experience of over 11 years.
Completed Under graduation from Samvaad institute of speech and Hearing, Bangalore University, Post-graduation from All India Institute of Speech and hearing, Mysore University. Master’s Dissertation on “Relationship between behavioural Outcome and Aided cortical potentials in Hearing aid users” Under the guidance of Prof. P. Manjula, Department of Audiology AIISH, Mysore.2014.She has enrolled for the PhD at All India institute of speech and hearing, Mysore University. (Jan 2025) under the guidance of Dr Prawin Kumar.

She has worked at different organizations at such as Audiologist (Clinical Supervisor) at Samvaad Institute of Speech and Hearing, Bangalore from 01.07.2011 to 27.07.2012, Audiologist Grade I at All India institute of speech & Hearing 09.10.2014 to 08.10.2015, Lecturer at MERF Institute of Speech & Hearing, Chennai 02.11.2015 to 01.11.2016, Assistant Professor & Clinical Coordinator at MERF Institute of Speech & Hearing, Chennai. (2.11.2016 to 25.02.2025)

Had implantation Audiology training (intra-op measures eCAP, eSRT eABR, Switch on an programming) at Madras ENT Research Foundation and MERF ISH, under the guidance Prof Mohan Kameswaran and Prof Ranjith Rajeswaran.
Presented 25 papers in the National & international conferences & Published 13 articles in National UGC / Peer reviewed approved Journals.
Guided 21 Dissertations.
She has been the examiner, Question paper setter and moderator at various institutions SRM Medical college Kattankulathr, Holy cross Trichy, NIEPMD Kovalam, CMC Vellore and SAVEETHA Medical College Chennai, AVMC Puducherry.
