Dr. Joy Sandhya is a committed nursing professional with experience in clinical care, teaching, and public health training. She has served in key academic roles including Lecturer, Instructor, and Assistant professor. She was part of a Ministry of Health and UNICEF collaborative project at ICH, Egmore. Her areas of expertise include emergency care, newborn health, and skill-based education. She is known for her self-motivation, empathy, and teamwork.
She holds a BSc in Nursing from Saveetha and an MSc in Nursing from Madras Medical College. She completed her full-time PhD in Nursing at SRM University. Dr. Sandhya also has a Master’s in Psychology and a PG Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has acquired certified training in NABH, Life Skills, HIV Care, Quality Initiative Research, and Lactation Management. Her multidisciplinary qualifications support her integrated approach to health and education.
