Dr. Harinishaanth B is a dedicated and patient-focused Anaesthesiology physician with an MBBS and MD in Anaesthesiology, trained at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. He has extensive hands-on experience in administering general, spinal, and regional Anaesthesia across a wide range of surgical specialties, including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, Orthopaedics, OBGYN, laparoscopy, and urology.
He has independently managed high-risk ASA III–IV patients and is skilled in airway management, intraoperative monitoring, ventilator support, and postoperative care. His clinical background includes significant exposure to high-acuity environments, particularly within the Neurology ICU, where he has cared for critically ill neurosurgical and neurological patients, performed invasive monitoring, managed ventilators, and optimized patients for complex neurosurgical procedures.
Dr. Harinishaanth has contributed to perioperative care during emergencies and has participated in resuscitation and critical care management. In addition to his clinical work, he has experience as a medical educator, having taught anatomy to undergraduate medical students and conducted cadaver dissections.
He has also provided teleconsultations during the COVID-19 pandemic, managing both acute and chronic conditions remotely, guiding home-isolation care, and supporting patient follow-up.
His academic contributions include peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, notably in ultrasound-guided gastric volume assessment and regional anaesthesia techniques. He holds BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association and is a member of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists.
Currently serving as a Senior Resident in Anaesthesiology, Dr. Harinishaanth continues to pursue excellence in perioperative safety, teamwork, and advanced anaesthetic techniques.
