Mr. Vasantharajan V is a postgraduate trainee in M.Sc Trauma Care Management at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai. He holds a B.Sc in Accident and Emergency Care Technology from Dhanvantri Institute of Educational Research, Erode. With hands-on experience as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, he has worked in critical care and emergency departments, managing advanced procedures such as ECMO, IABP, CRRT, and trauma resuscitation.
His research interests include electrocardiographic patterns in myocardial infarction, electrolyte abnormalities in emergency department patients, and emergency critical care outcomes. He is passionate about ECG interpretation, ACLS instruction, and simulation-based training for paramedics and medical students.
Outside academics, he is a three-time SGFI National Gold Medalist in Yoga and a Black Belt in Karate/Taekwondo.
