Bio

After acquiring MBBS from Madras Medical College, I have completed the Diplomate of National Board of Examinations training in General Surgery and Neurosurgery. The Neurosurgery training was at Sri Sathya Sai Institute for Higher Medical Sciences at Whitefield. Following this I trained in the United Kingdom working at Royal Preston Hospital and James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. After successfully completing the Royal College Fellowship Examination in Neurosurgery I worked as a Fellow in Functional Neurosurgery at King’s College Hospital, London and Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool. The fellowship involved training in Deep Brain stimulation for Movement disorders and Epilepsy, surgery for pain and Spasticity including insertion of intrathecal pumps and lesioning surgery. I was also involved in surgery for drug resistant epilepsy in adults and children.
