Dr.Pankaj B. Shah is Professor and Associate Dean Research. Main areas of interest are research and teaching related to chronic kidney disease, cancer epidemiology, preventive oncology, cancer registration system, research ethics education, ethical use of AI, faculty development program, core areas of research methodology, systematic reviews & meta-analysis and evidence based medicine. Author and reviewer of Cochrane Systematic Reviews. He is part of abstract screening committee of Cochrane Colloquiums. He is course coordinator and faculty for many Research methodology and Research Ethics education Program at basic and advanced level and workshops on Systematic reviews and meta-analysis and medical education program like NMC approved BCME & ACME. He is member secretary of one of the SRIHER IEC.
It is about the training and research aspects of verbal autopsy training for staff at Census office of TN, Pondicherry and A& N islands. It is in collaboration with AIIMS, New Delhi and Registrar General of India.
It is ICMR DHR project on systematic review and meta-analysis. Various topics will be identified like UTRI and it will be conducted as per ICMR and other relevant guidelines.
