Currently Professor of Surgery, Senior Consultant – Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. She graduated MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College and completed Postgraduation in MS General Surgery from Kilpauk Medical College. She has more than 20years of teaching experience and surgical expertise in General Surgery. She has several research publications and has written book chapters in Breast diseases. She has 4 patents for her invention In Simulation models for training surgical skills. She is a task force Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences for Breast Cancer Management and has recently been a part in drafting the National guidelines for Breast Cancer Management and Prevention by NAMS. She is also the Board Member of Research in DrMGR Medical University.
