Anisha is currently working as Speech Language Pathologist Grade I at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER- Deemed University), Chennai, India. She embarked on her journey into Speech Language Pathology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai, graduating with Bachelors in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology.
Anisha’s clinical and research interest includes Neurogenic communication disorder, Feeding and swallowing, Fluency disorders. She is known for her multitasking skills, worked as a clinician, addressing a variety of cases in Speech Language Pathology. Fluent in English, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu, she possesses a multilingual edge that enhances her ability to connect with diverse patient populations.
Anisha’s commitment extended beyond academics, earning recognition for her research on auditory activities for children with cochlear implants. Her involvement in conferences and workshops, like the Tata Laryngectomy Rehabilitation Course and the International Dysphagia Conclave, enriched her knowledge. Notably, she won 2nd place for her case study on Dysphagia Rehabilitation in a child with TB meningitis. Anisha’s accolades include receiving the Tata Trusts Merit Scholarship in Medical and Healthcare streams in 2022. She also participated and presented in the conferences.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Anisha actively participated in community service through the National Service Scheme, further reflecting her compassionate nature.
Anisha was awarded 2nd Prize under the category- Academic Professional Oral presentation at FLaSH conference 2024 conducted on 2nd Sept-4th Sept by Holy Cross College.
