NSS, SRIHER (DU) in collaboration with the Alumni Association-Nursing Chapter, conducted a Free Multi-Speciality Medical Camp on 10th July 2026 at the Don Bosco Beatitudes Social Welfare Centre & St. Thomas Home for Senior Citizens, Vyasarpadi, Chennai. The camp offered comprehensive screening and consultation in General Medicine, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Orthopedics, Dental, Dermatology, and Physiotherapy, along with CBG and ECG investigations and free distribution of medicines. A total of 116 beneficiaries were served, comprising 66 senior citizens and 50 members of the general public. Of these, 22 individuals were identified as requiring spectacles, which will be provided free of cost in the near future. Ten members were diagnosed to have cataract.
