NSS-SRIHER, in joint collaboration with the ExNoRa International Foundation, successfully organized an environmental exposure and action program at SIDCO Mullaivanam, Thirumullaivoyal on July 4th, 2026. A dedicated contingent of 62 NSS volunteers from Units 7 and 8 stepped forward to drive real ecological change through hands-on activities. The event featured an insightful orientation by the ExNoRa Foundation team on the vital importance of environmental conservation and efficient tree plantation techniques. Following a practical and educational farm visit, the volunteers demonstrated exemplary teamwork by preparing 150 seed balls to boost regional green cover. Furthermore, the volunteers actively implemented the innovative 'Paal Cover to Payir Cover Thittam' initiative, upcycling discarded plastic milk pouches into nursery bags for saplings to promote a circular economy.
