Virtual Town Hall: Understanding Exposomics for Lifecourse Health and Ageing – An Indian Perspective for a Viksit Bharat
In a significant move toward advancing environmental health research, our team, in collaboration with Ashoka University, The Center for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC), The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Johns Hopkins University, and the Global Exposome Forum, is proud to announce a global virtual event to launch the India Chapter of the Global Exposome Forum.
About the Event: Exposomics is an emerging field that holistically examines multi-pathway exposures to mixtures of environmental, metabolic, and socio-behavioral hazards. As India possesses a wealth of long-term cohort studies and biorepositories, this Town Hall serves as a critical first step in coalescing regional efforts to align with global human exposomics initiatives.
By integrating nuanced insights from South Asia, we aim to contribute to a Viksit Bharat through improved understanding of lifecourse health and ageing.
