Dr. N.PREETHA

NIDHI-PRAYAS project, supported by DST and implemented by IIT Madras HTIC Med Tech Incubator, focuses on the “Development of Nutritious Food Products Suitable for the Paediatric Population.” This project began on June 17, 2022, and successfully completed on January 12, 2024. This initiative emphases on the dietary habits established during childhood and adolescence often persist throughout life. By educating families on healthy food choices, the project aims to prevent obesity and related complications. Prayasee of this project is Dr.N.Preetha, Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (DU), Porur, Chennai.

The core objective of this project is to make nutritious snack options accessible to families and accommodating a broad spectrum of paediatric and healthy individual needs.
