MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME BY SRIHER AND BENTLEY

The faculty of Management Sciences, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research and Bentley University, USA held a one day Management Development Programme on “Finance for non finance professionals and start up financing” here today. On this occasion a MoU signed between the two universities was also exchanged by Dr. Uma Sekar, Vice Chancellor, SRIHER and Prof. Sanjay Putrevu, Dean of Business, Bentley University.

Speaking on the occasion Prof. Putrevu said the collaboration offers B.Com students of SRIHER excellent internship and job opportunities in US.

D.Uma Sekar said this twinning programme, first by SRIHER has been carefully designed tobenefit the commerce students. Sri Ramachandra well known as a premier medical education and healthcare institution has diversified into engineering and management education which will grow.

Dr. Selvam Jesiah, Principal, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Management Sciences said the MoU will benefit the students in preferential admission to Masters in Finance in Bentley University exempting them from SAT and IELTS and in scholarship and in house accommodation.

Several professional doctors attended the Management Development Programme today where financial and start up inputs were provided by eminent persons including Dr. Karthik Raman, Professor of the Department of Finance, Bentley University.
