Sri Ramachandra Students Incubation Centre Launches Health App ‘Meduora’
Students of the faculty of pharmacy, an incubatee of Sri Ramachandra Innovation Incubation Foundation (SRIIF) of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research developed a new digital health application, “Meduora,” inaugurated today by Ms. Samyuktha Venkataachalam, Trustee, Sri Ramachandra Educational & Health Trust. It is aimed at connecting patients with doctors, pharmacies and diagnostic laboratories in tier 2 and tier 3 hospitals through a single integrated platform, thereby simplifying access to healthcare services. The initiative reflects the vision of the Sri Ramachandra Innovation Incubation Foundation (SRIIF) in enabling students to transform innovative ideas into impactful and sustainable healthcare solutions.
The Sri Ramachandra Innovation Incubation Foundation is actively fostering a vibrant innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem by supporting startups in the fields of healthcare, assistive technology, sports science, climate change, and sustainability.
As part of its commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs, SRIIF launched the first Student Venture Development Program (SVDP) in June 2025. This one-year venture development cohort has been exclusively designed for students to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. Under this programme, promising student’s start up teams were selected through an Ideathon initiative and provided with structured training, mentorship, and entrepreneurial guidance to help transform their innovative ideas into sustainable ventures.
The Vice Chancellor Dr. Uma Sekar, Dean Medical College Dr. K. Balaji Singh, Registrar Dr. S. Senthil Kumar and the members of Sri Ramachandra Innovation Incubation Foundation were present at the event.
