Be an expert in handling all kinds of medical emergencies arising due to cardiovascular disease,

Possess adequate knowledge base (both basic and applied) to effectively interact with medical colleagues in a wide range of disciplines,

Communicate effectively and empathetically to patients and attendants,

Perform resuscitation and management of the acutely ill adult and pediatric patients,

Organize perioperative care of cardiac surgical patients,

Plan and execute infection control procedures, system management and standard operative procedures in the intensive (critical) care units,

Operate the monitoring gadgets and to detect and manage alterations in their functioning,

Lead and be a member of the team involved in perioperative care,

Analyze the quality and implications of medical literature and apply new knowledge in the delivery of health care,

Identify and participate in future areas of inquiry in medical research,

Express enthusiasm and positive attitude in the educational process and participate fully In educational and research activities
