Be excellent clinicians encompassing highest levels of skills in evaluation, diagnosis and management of primary and secondary disorders of the hepatobiliary system.

Acquire an in-depth understanding of the dynamic events in hepatobiliary system occurring during life and the importance of these physiologic variables that occur during liver development and growth.

Acquire knowledge about the unique nature of inherited and acquired liver diseases

Be trained in Preoperative, peri-operative, postoperative and long-term care of liver transplantation

Be trained in usage of serological, radiological,molecular and metabolic investigations which benefit diagnosis and therapy.

Acquire knowledge about a number of unique disorders including extrahepatic portal venous obstruction, Budd-Chari syndrome, and unidentified causes of cirrhosis and also increasing evidence of obesity affecting liver as well as metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) which are prevalent in developing countries

Be active in advancing the field by participating in research and capable enough to impart training/ education.

Excel in clinical, intensive care, transplant hepatology, endoscopy, various procedures and laboratory evaluation-cum interpretation in patients with liver diseases.
