M.D. Radio-Diagnosis

The Radiology curriculum sets out the framework for educational progression and strive for excellence that will support professional development throughout training in Radiology.

The process of training and the competences needed for the successful completion of training in Radiology is highlighted. The aim is to ensure that trainees are fully competent to provide a high quality service at consultant level.

This programme will allow Radiology postgraduate in training to apply their knowledge and skills in the work place and improving performance for completion of training and fulfil the requirements for M.D. (Radio diagnosis).

Radiology post graduates are committed to lifelong learning in and form, the practice of radiology in the clinical environment and through repeated clinical experience.

Radiology trainees will be expected to develop critical thinking and professional judgment, especially where there is clinical uncertainty and also to develop a sense of team work within all spheres of practice

Radiology residents should continue to refine their clinical skills and techniques and the quality of their interaction with others. They should understand the relationship between theory and reality, which will enable them to exercise better judgment in complex situations.

Develop skills to demonstrate competent use of relevant computer technology and information technology to radiological practice.
