Describe the Anatomy and physiology of respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, renal and nervous system and correlate with the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and management of the clinical conditions in a critical care setting.
Demonstrate understanding of design, organization ,legal and ethical issues related to intensive care units
Demonstrate Knowledge of uses of common drugs applicable to critically ill patients.
Demonstrate Knowledge of infections, principles and application of infection control and prevention measures
Apply the knowledge of usage, monitoring and troubleshooting of various equipment used in Intensive care Unit
Interpret laboratory and radiological investigations for establishing diagnosis in ICU.
Assist the intensives in various advanced procedures relating to all organ systems in critical care unit
Monitor and Recognize signs and symptoms of emergencies, initiate interventions and seek assistance as needed
Evaluate the avenues for research in enhancing quality patient outcomes.
Demonstrate the application of appropriate statistical methods required for a particular research design.
