M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry

Acquaint students with knowledge and techniques in the current basic and applied aspects of biochemistry.

Acquire deep scientific knowledge in cell biology, enzymology, metabolism, endocrinology, immunology, molecular biology and clinical biochemistry.

Describe the biochemical basis of diseases, regulation of metabolic pathways and gene expression regulation.

Perform biochemical experiments using classical and modern instruments of biochemistry, & molecular biology. Should be able to record and interpret the results.

Develop problem solving skills and robust communication skills.

Demonstrate ability to critically analyse scientific data, draw objective conclusions and apply    this knowledge towards research activities.

Develop insight into ethical implication of biological research and good laboratory practices.

Develop skill to express and communicate effectively, learn and update continuously with the changing technology and be able to adopt to new knowledge, understand professional and ethical responsibility and to develop capability to work independently and as a team.
