M.Sc. Medical Physiology

To demonstrate basic knowledge in the fundamentals of Basic Medical Sciences and to facilitate further progression in the chosen specialty 

To acquire a comprehensive understanding of human physiology, emphasizing molecular, cellular, and systemic mechanisms that regulate body functions.

To identify derangements in basic physiologic conditions and to describe their scientific basis. (pathophysiology)

To explain how various systems interact to yield integrated physiological responses to challenges such as exercise, fasting and ascent to high altitude.

To develop proficiency in experimental physiology, including designing and conducting physiological research in collaboration with allied sciences and biomedical engineering

To demonstrate knowledge of general principles of medical education (use of appropriate teaching techniques and resources) and apply theoretical frameworks in pedagogy 

To critically analyze physiological data and apply statistical and analytical tools for interpreting research findings in biomedical sciences.

To engage in research and scientific communication, developing skills to publish research findings, present at conferences, and contribute to academic and industrial advancements in physiology.

To display appropriate attitude, behavior, communication skills and uphold ethical principles in all professional encounters.
