    Provide a theoretical background for Occupational Therapy Practice in Mental Health. It also includes the frames of reference for Occupational Therapy Management; Occupational Therapy Process, Media and context of Occupational Therapy Practice.

    Demonstrate the ability to apply the knowledge on classification of Mental disorders & describes various clinical syndromes, medical management and Occupational Therapy approaches used.

    Demonstrate the ability to analyze the therapeutic intervention and modify the therapeutic intervention.

    Demonstrate the ability to apply the recent advances in Psychiatric occupational Therapy

    Eligibility

    A candidate must possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree (with not less than 41⁄2 years duration including 6 months of internship) of Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research or of any other recognized University as equivalent thereto obtained through full time regular class room mode. The candidate must have completed BOT Program from on AIOTA accredited Institution.
