The research eco-system @ SRIHER is supported by a comprehensive set of policies that are aimed at fostering a vibrant community of inter-disciplinary researchers while providing them with clear guidelines for executing research projects at all levels. Institutional ethical committees address procedures for ethical conduct of research involving human subjects as well other research involving pre-clinical testing and bio-safety considerations. The Publications guideline monitoring committee provides support for plagiarism as well as multiple aspects of publication volume and quality related benchmarks. The resource mobilisation and utilisation policy outlines procedures for securing and executing extra-mural grants including protocols for human resource and financial management, travel and contingency guidelines and procedures for procurement of minor and major equipment.
The SRIHER administration provides generous support for research promotion including publication and conference travel reimbursements, research recognitions for various research excellence benchmarks in form of medals, certificates and cash awards, grants for early career researchers, fellowships for undergraduate and PhD scholars and comprehensive support for grants management.
