SRIHER has received funding and recognitions to serve as Centers of Excellence for national and international agencies. The Department of Environmental Health Engineering at the Faculty of Public Health serves as a World Health Organisation Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Occupational and Environmental Health since 2007, an ICMR Center for Advanced Research on Air Quality, Climate and Health since 2010 and NIHR Global Health Research Center for Non-Communicable Diseases and Environmental Change since 2023. The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Sri Ramachandra Dental College serves as a Center for Early Childhood Caries with funding support from the DBT-India Alliance and the National Institutes of Health, USA. The SRESHT Laboratory (Services to reach children with speech and hearing disorders using telepratice/technology) at Faculty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology is supported by the DBT-India Alliance. Sri Ramachandra Center for Toxicology and Development Research (CEFTE) is accredited by the National Good Laboratory Practice Compliance Monitoring Laboratory as a GLP certified laboratory for preclinical testing.
