Ms. Parichitha, II M.Sc Clinical Nutrition was awarded First prize with cash award of Rs.1000 on the paper entitled “Effect of protein rich granola bar on the muscle strength and physical performance of endurance athletes” at IASMCON 2020 41^st Annual conference of Indian Association of Sports Medicine, SMS Medical College, Jaipur 8-9th February 2020.

Ms. Rahmathul Bari, III B.Sc Clinical Nutrition has been selected for the best innovative idea for “Tamilnadu Student Innovators 2019 award- Ideation Camp” organized by Madras Institute of Technology (MIT)- IEDP Hub, Anna University, MIT campus with the support of Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-GoTN)

33^rd Biennial Conference of Home Science Association of India (HSAI) on “Trends for futuristic Development in Home Science: Research and Innovation” held from 22nd -24th January 2020, Avinashilingam Institute for Home science and Higher Education for Women.

Ms. Gayathri.K, PhD Scholar, Clinical Nutrition won II Best Poster award for the paper entitled “Development and Formulation of Phytoestrogen rich supplement for women with Poly cystic ovary syndrome” at the IAPEN Clinical Nutrition Congress and 7^th Annual International Conference organized by Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and Department of Dietetics in collaboration with IAPEN, Puducherry Regional centre from 7^th to 9^th February 2020

Ms. Varsha Shankar, II Semester M.Sc Audiology won the first prize and Mr. Sriram, B.ASLP(Intern) won the second runner up in the competitive oral presentation category in the INDOCLEFTCON 2020 Conference  and Ms. Swetha Sridhar received Best Poster award for her presentation in 18th INDOCLEFTCON 2018 at the Annual meeting of the Indian society of Cleft Lip Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies, New Delhi Feb 2020. 

Ms. Swetha B, IV Semester, M.Sc (Speech Language Pathology) won best oral paper presentation award under the theme ‘Inclusive Society, Education and capacity building’ at the International conference on Early Intervention conducted by AMAR SEVA SANGAM, 13^th & 15^th February 2020.

OSTOPATH 2019

Dr Madhumitha, First year post graduate student ,in the department of Pathology,SRIHER won the second prize, ,for her poster presentation at OSTOPATH 2019 held at Meenakshi Medical College,Kancheepuram on 5^th November 2019

Mr Enoch Newton Joseph from SRIHER got selected for MEDI-OLYMPICS 2019 in BUDVA, MONTENEGRO (near Sebia)from 22^nd June to 29^th June 2019 .From India he was the only one to get selected for this MEDI -OLYMPICS . Almost 40 countries took part in this meet and 4500 athletes all over the world were in competition . He participated in 100 meters and  200 meters representing India and Sri Ramachandra  Institute of Higher Education and Research,and got 2 gold medals in the both events and created new meet records in the both events  breaking the old meet record  which was kept by him in 2018 MEDI OLYMPICS ( (MALTA) with the performance  of 10.97 sec in 100 meters and 22.09 sec  in 200 meters and got best athlete award among all the athletes.

Two teams from the Department of Periodontics won the National Level PG Contest – Pieze Awe Challenge conducted by Acteon India Pvt Ltd. Dr Manjusha ,final year Pathology post graduate student of SRIHER won the first prize in the category of Health Sciences at Anveshan 2019 – South Zone ,which was held at Vignan University.Guntur(AP) on Feb 22^rd and 23^rd 2019.

Mr Enoch Newton Joseph,Physiotherapy student of Sri Ramachandra Medical College,Chennai participated in 39^th World Medigames held in Malta from 16 to 21^th June and brought laurels to our country by winning three gold medals. He participated in 100 meters , 200 meters and 400 meters. In this World Medigames, more than 40 countries and more than 3500 athletes participated. He has been qualified for the 40th World Medigames to be held in Budva on June 2019

Ms. Arathy Kasturiraj MBBS CRRI Represented India in “The European Cup 2017 ” and placed 8^th out of 39 Skaters in Four races, held in Heerde- Holland- in May 2017.
