Bio

Dr. Sudha S is an experienced academician with  17 years of service as an Assistant professor of Microbiology. Her research interests span Medical Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology and Environmental Microbiology.  She has published 30 research articles and 7 book chapters in peer-reviewed journals with 2 awarded patents. She has  honored as NPTEL believer and Discipline Star during July to December 2021.

Educations

• 2014 Ph D. Microbiology– Sathyabama University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Title of the Thesis:  Isolation, characterization of anticancer compound form marine sediment derived Actinomycetes from South East Coast of India.
• 2006 Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Microbial Technology with First class, CMST, M.S University, Rajakamangalam, Nagercoil.
• 2004 Master of Science (M.Sc) in the field of Microbiology with Distinction, CMST, M.S University, Rajakamangalam, Nagercoil.
• 2000 Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in the field of Botany with First class, Holy Cross College, M.S. University, Nagercoil.
