Mr. Murugan is an academician with over 17 years of experience and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at SRIHER, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students. He is an active member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council. His research focuses on the isolation and characterization of bioactive constituents from medicinal plants and the evaluation of their biological activities. He has extensive hands-on experience with a range of analytical instruments, including UV–Visible spectrophotometers, FTIR, and HPLC, which he employs for phytochemical analysis and structural elucidation.
Mr. Murugan has contributed significantly to the field through the publication of six research papers in peer-reviewed journals and one book chapter published by IntechOpen and Springer.
