An independent unit of the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research (SRIHER) established in the year 2009 by the Board meeting of Management of Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai – 600116. The centre is conceptualized and led by Prof. Dr. S. Thanikachalam, Director, CEFTE and Cardiac Care centre at SRIHER (DU), Chennai. The facility is located within the campus of the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Chennai and gives a unique opportunity to share and collaborate with world renowned experts in specific areas of Bio-medical and clinical research, cutting edge technologies of a tertiary medical care hospital systems with experienced professors, and leading medical scientists. It has the expertise to perform and propose a variety of disease models and preclinical services. At present it is functioning as an accredited Center of Excellence.
