The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sri Ramachandra Dental College & Hospital, in association with the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) (Tamil Nadu and Puducherry chapter), has organized a two-day first annual convention ‘Face Forward 2025’ in Chennai today. It was inaugurated by Dr. Amaloparvanathan, Member of the State Planning Commission, Tamil Nadu.
More than 1000 dental undergraduates from across South India participated. They will be provided hands-on training and learn about recent advancements in maxillofacial surgery. The convention aims to enhance maxillofacial interests among UG dental students.
The national and state presidents, state secretary, and office bearers of AOMSI participated in the convention.
Dr. Thamizhchelvan, Dean, Sri Ramachandra Dental College & Hospital, Dr. J. Naveen Kumar, HoD, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, other faculty members, and eminent dental surgeons from all over Tamil Nadu shared their expertise during the convention.
